what does a multi-agency environment mean?

Posted by admin on July 13th, 2010 and filed under environment agency | 2 Comments »

A multi-agency environment refers to a client that employs more than a single agency/company for advertising, marketing, press, etc.

At times this is done as a check and balance system, at times it’s because certain initiatives or individuals have a historic relationship to maintain, and at times it’s done because people don’t know what’s going on.

Environment Agency recommendations re: flooding are negligent?

Posted by admin on July 10th, 2010 and filed under environment agency | 1 Comment »

To alleviate flooding, they say they want 1 Billion UK pounds
a year from the government…

but they haven’t they made it very clear there is a need for INEXPENSIVE local flood guards / defences
+ Decent AFFORDABLE Weather-Proof shelters…

If they dealt with the specifics… maybe we could overcome?

I agree, if you are going to spend that kind of money, you should be able to prove, The need, the method that will be used to answer that need, and it should be clear, and concise so that the people who are footing the bill, The tax payers, can understand it.

Does China have an Environment Protection Agency?

Posted by admin on July 7th, 2010 and filed under environment agency | 2 Comments »

Yes, they do, whether you believe it or not.

I’m not going overboard with this, but put it this way, if China does not care for its environments, then why do they have several dozens of World Heritage Sites which are also abundant in plant life?

If they don’t care, why would they spend billions every year to restore historical sites and its surrounding environment? If China has such a bad environment, why do most Chinese, even those who can afford to go abroad, prefer to take holidays in natural reserves around the Chinese map?

If the Chinese government does not care for the environment, where would be the tourist incomes, which is a large trade in China? If they don’t damn care, why are they investing more than the Americans into renewable energies?

CNN may pretend China is awful, but why are more and more tourists going to China and come back with reminiscent memories and say China is actually very different that what the TV tells them? Yes, the massive Chinese industrial infrastructure does pollute a lot, but taking into account the cities has not expanded like hell, no slum housing, no outbreak of deadly disease everyday like the British industrialisation, China is doing pretty well to protect the environment in their rapid catch-up with western industrialisation, don’t you think?

China’s industrial development is similar to Britain in the 1800s, after all European colonisation of China in the 1800s did slow China down which resulted in China’s late rise as a great world power, but if you compare the China now with Britain in the 1800s (which historically, politically and economically is a fair comparison), you’ll find China’s doing much better.

Give it some slack and let it develop at its own pace will you? After all it’s Europe and Japan’s fault for invading China and stopping its modernisation in the first place.

Would a staffing agency recruiter have to always be involved in sales activity?

I am a corp now but interested in agency environment hiring for various positions. But I am not much of a sales person. Can I focus purely on recruiting?

You won’t make any money if you can’t get any clients to hire your recruits – anyone can get recruits – it’s getting paying customers that’s the hard part

The Environment Agency (EA) claims to be a guardian of the environment yet….?

Posted by admin on June 29th, 2010 and filed under environment agency | 2 Comments »

….it chooses to prosecute in less than 1% of all
pollution incidents (their own statistics). How can this be? (UK)
not UK I mean England and Wales.

I expect it all comes down to money and how much the prosecution would cost, sad, but true.
